Edit Menu
Configuration
-
Name - A name that logically describes the Configuration. (ex. Audio Configuration for Center Street Theater)
-
Description - Include detailed descriptions of the venue, contact names and numbers, etc.
Output Groups
-
Edit - Pops up a dialog to edit Output Groups. See the Output Groups section of this Help document for details.
-
Reset - Creates a new set of Output Groups. There will be one Output Group for each Device. And one one Output Group named "All Devices" which will contain every Device. Any existing Output Group will be replaced, so save the current configuration if needed before doing a Reset.
-
Set Output Format - The Output Format dialog (Figure 1) sets the quality of the output signal generated during microphone Broadcast. Set this value to the format listed in your microphone specification or user's guide. Mismatching this format value can cause distortion in the output. Try different settings to find the best quality output. For DirectX, the highest quality is 48Khz, 16 bit Stereo. The Output Format does not affect audio file playback since format is already encoded in the file.
